WE ARE HERE TO HELP STARTING A CONVERSATION Wellness in Action’s programs address affordability and increase  SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY   WIA partners with licensed  counselors to offer affordable and discounted services utilizing a sliding scale based on reported income.  WIA also partners with pre-licensed counseling interns working towards their graduate degrees to offer more therapy offerings for the community and invest in future practitioners.  Big Sky’s first Community Health Worker provides short-term wrap around support and empowerment to individuals and can serve as an introduction to available resources.  access to critical services by providing a discounted fee structure.  Taking good care of your mental health can be helpful to:  Better understand your thoughts and feelings;  Manage stress and anxiety; Deal with difficult life changes; Improve your relationships.  The Ski Patrol Counseling Program serves ski patrol and first responders by licensed counselors who have experience in trauma associated with outdoor pursuits.  Enrichment Scholarships create affordable access to recreation and wellbeing activities fostering positive youth development.  Question Persuade Refer (QPR) Trainings teach a person to recognize warning signs of suicide and how to approach conversations, making our community better equipped to help each other.

PIR Day Camps KidsLINK PIR Day Camps, held right at Ophir Elementary, offer a great way for your child to keep learning and having fun during school breaks. Each day is filled with activities, games, and plenty of chances to make new friends. PIR Day Camps run from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and are just $50 for the day. Upcoming PIR Days include: February 14th – Kindness Camp: A day focused on spreading kindness and building connections. March 3rd & 21st: More exciting adventures to keep your child engaged and active.

kidsLINK Spring Break Camp: Peter Rabbit (April 7th-11th) Join us at Ophir Elementary for a whimsical Peter Rabbit-themed Spring Break Camp for K-5th graders. Each day runs from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, offering a full day of hands-on crafts, outdoor activities, and opportunities to make new friends. Whether you sign up for the full week at $250 or just a day for $50, it’s a great way to keep your child engaged and active during the break.

GGUW kidsLINK Summer Camp This summer, give your child the chance to explore, learn, and have fun at kidsLINK Summer Camp. We offer 11 weeks of activities for children ages 3 through rising 5th graders, designed to support school readiness for younger kids and offer new experiences for older ones. Whether they’re exploring sports, music, cooking, superheroes, or outdoor adventures, there’s something new to enjoy each week. Camps run from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, offering all-day fun and learning. kidsLINK Big Sky Program Coordinator Position Description  Job Description: kidsLINK The Big Sky Afterschool Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, safety and activities of the afterschool program to ensure a safe  and fun environment for the afterschool students at Ophir Elementary. This position requires  excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff, interact with  families, and ensure the smooth running of the program. The coordinator will also be  responsible for maintaining communication with the Greater Gallatin United Way and upholding  their guidelines and standards.  Location: Ophir Elementary School, Big Sky, MT  Times: Monday through Friday, 3:15pm-5:45pm  Pay rate: $20-$25 per hour  Key Areas of Responsibility: include, but are not limited to:  • Facilitate a safe and enriching environment for the afterschool children that attend the  program.  • Take attendance every day to ensure accurate records of program participants. • Manage a team of staff members, including scheduling, training, and performance  management.  • Serve as the primary point of contact for site staff, addressing their concerns, providing  guidance, and ensuring effective communication.  • Act as the main point of contact for enrolled families, addressing inquiries, providing  program updates, and resolving any concerns.  • Manage and maintain the Enrollsy software, Cayen software, and phones used in the  program for effective communication and record-keeping.  • Coordinate the procurement and organization of activity supplies to ensure engaging  and varied daily activities for program participants.  • Coordinate the procurement and distribution of snack supplies, ensuring nutritional  requirements and dietary restrictions are considered.  • Plan daily activities based on the Curriculum guide, ensuring age-appropriate and  educational content for program participants.  • Implement the kidsLINK disciplinary system, maintaining a safe and inclusive  environment for all participants.  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the program, including scheduling, program  logistics, and resolving any issues that may arise.  • Manage staff hours, ensuring proper coverage and adherence to employment policies  and regulations.  • Attend all scheduled required training courses provided by the Greater Gallatin United  Way to stay updated on best practices and program requirements.  • Uphold guidelines and standards provided by the Greater Gallatin United Way to ensure  compliance and program quality.  • Maintain building cleanliness standards and manage program equipment, ensuring a  safe and well-maintained environment.  • Share stories and pictures of the program with the Greater Gallatin United Way to  showcase program activities and impact. Preferred qualifications  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in education, child development, or a  related field.  Physical Demands: While performing the required duties of this job, the employee is  regularly required to stand for long periods of time as well as talk, hear, sit, and use hands  to handle, finger or feel objects.
