OMS Boys Basketball
5/6 Grade
The Miner 5/6 grade team end their season with a scrimmage this week to put a bow on their year. The Miners had a great season and improved so much with their basketball skills. Great work everyone!
7/8 Grade
The Miner 7/8 team ended their season at the Rural Season Tournament at Monforton on Friday and Saturday. They took home a 3rd place finish, and ended a successful season with many more wins than losses. Great work gentlemen, we are proud of you!
LPHS Basketball
The Lady Bighorns opened their season with one of the top teams in the state Twin Bridges. Despite leading 10-8 in the first quarter, the ladies fell to the Falcons. They will look to get a district win vs. White Sulphur Springs this Saturday.
The Bighorn boys attended the Lockwood preseason tournament and picked up two big wins vs. Bridger (57-23) and Absarokee (79-40). They continued to roll with their first district game at home vs. Twin Bridges and were victorious 74-41. The boys will also face White Sulphur Springs on Saturday and also Harrison / Willow Creek tomorrow. This will just be a boys game as their girls team have co-oped with Whitehall this year.
