LPHS Football

The LPHS football team's season came to an end as they were defeated in the first round of the playoffs in Culbertson. Having not been in the playoffs for several years and finishing with a record of 5-4, this was an outstanding season for the Bighorns and they will start their work in the off season to begin preparing for next year. Excellent work boys, we are proud of you!

LPHS Volleyball

The LPHS Volleyball team found a spark at the district tournament last weekend. They defeated Gardiner in their first game, and were sent to the consolation bracket by Manhattan Christian, who would go on to win the tournament. After a win vs. White Sulphur Springs the ladies shocked the three seed Ennis Mustangs defeating them in four sets and moving onto the semifinals. The next opponent was Twin Bridges. The Lady Bighorns took it all the way to five games losing the last 15-13, just missing a chance to play in the district championship. Regardless, the ladies still brought home the 3rd place trophy and will play in the divisional tournament this week matching up against Drummond first. Good luck girls!

OMS Boys Basketball

OMS Boys Basketball teams have their first games today vs. Bear Canyon. They will also head to Gallatin Gateway on Thursday. Good luck Miners!
