OMS / LPHS Football
The OMS football team found the endzone a number of times vs. Simms on Friday but unfortunately did not come up with the win at home. The Bighorns battled the Simms Tigers with both teams scoring back and forth. In an offensive showcase, the Bighorns unfortunately came up short on a 54-48 score. The Miners and Bighorns have two games left in the regular season, taking on Sheridan at home next Friday and then Deer Lodge on the road the following week. Good luck boys!
LPHS Volleyball
The LPHS Volleyball team only had one game last week, their homecoming matchup vs. Lima. The Lady Bighorns put on a show, shutting Lima out in three sets and not allowing more than ten points each set. Great work ladies! They have two tough district matchups in Twin Bridges at home and White Sulphur Springs on the road Friday and Saturday, respectively.
LPHS Soccer
The soccer teams unfortunately both lost to Park High in their homecoming matchups, but the tables turned when they traveled to Lockwood on Saturday. The boys shut out the Lions 3-0 and the girls scraped out a 2-2 tie after losing to the Lions at home two weeks prior. The ladies have had a historic season, but unfortunately did not make the playoffs. Great season girls, we are proud of you! Congratulations to the boys team, as they have secured a playoff game vs. Loyola this coming Saturday. Good luck boys!
OMS Volleyball
Both of the OMS volleyball teams picked up nice wins vs. Home School and had a great showing at their tournament in Belgrade. The 7/8 grade girls boast an undefeated record in their regular season play. Great work girls! They will face Gallatin Gateway on Thursday.
