Nordic Ski Days will occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting later this month. Each elementary class has the privilege of getting to ski twice!! Each grade will go on both Tuesday and Thursday of their assigned week. Students in 4K will be doing an alternative outdoor activity. OMS students will get to ski one session. All Nordic skiing (except for our Kindergarteners) will be from 1-3 p.m.
Here are some friendly reminders:
Please send your child to school on their assigned ski days with appropriate snow clothing and layers. (Sunscreen if necessary)
Please make sure personal gear is labeled with name/grade. The school is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Helmets are not required for Nordic skiing.
Students will eat regular lunch on ski days.
The school will be providing transportation to and from Nordic Ski Days.
Gear can be dropped off in the front of the building by the flagpole on the mornings of your child’s ski days.
Parents will receive an email stating whether their student is signed up for rental gear.
