Basketball season wrapped up with two thrilling games in the first round of the district tournament. The boys pulled off a nice upset over Whitehall and the girls took the two seed Manhattan Tigers to overtime. Although neither team moved on to divisionals, they still represented Lone Peak High school well.
We have three athletes that have earned second team all conference honors. This is an impressive feat, especially with our move up to Class B. These athletes played at a high level in a very competitive district.

Next up for the Miners and Bighorns are the spring sports of Track & Field, Golf, Baseball, and Tennis. The student athletes are preparing to build off some great spring sports seasons last year and it will be exciting to watch.
