LPHS Boys Basketball

The Bighorn boys basketball team found themselves in two extremely close games this weekend. On Friday and Saturday the boys hosted the Ennis Mustangs and Broadwater Bulldogs. Both games came down to the wire, and while the Mustangs got the better of the Bighorns on Friday 60-55, it was Lone Peak that pulled away from Townsend in the end of the game to win 61-52. On Friday, the Bighorns were led by Ebe Grabow with 26 points and Isaac Bedway with 22. Julek Shipman contributed 4, and Ryan Malinowski had 3. On Saturday, Grabow stayed hot dropping 29 points, Bedway with 15, Julek Shipman and Ryan Malinowski both with 6, Oliver McGuire with 3, and Charlie Distad 2. The boys have two regular season games left. Good luck guys! 


LPHS Girls Basketball

The Bighorn girls were very closing to scooping up their first district win on Saturday vs. Townsend. After a back and forth game, the Lady Bulldogs pulled away in the final minutes. Harper Morris led scoring with 20 points, Astrid McGuire 12, Maddie Wilcynski 6, Vera Grabow 3. The girls also had a tough loss vs. Ennis on Friday with Morris leading scoring with 9, Grabow with 8, McGuire 5, Addy Malinowski 3, and Maddie Wilcynski had 2. Good luck this week girls!


OMS Boys Basketball

The OMS boys basketball teams had some tough losses vs. West Yellowstone on Thursday night. The boys are making a lot of improvement and they still have some games yet to go this season. The 7/8 grade team will head down to Monforton for their tournament, while the 5/6 grade will prepare for Amsterdam next Monday on the road and then both teams will finish with West Yellowstone next week.
