LPHS Girls Basketball

The Lady Bighorns were in Choteau for a tournament last weekend and split their games with a win vs. Park City 45-38  and a close loss against Conrad 46-48. They also faced Manhattan Christian on Saturday and after a battle leading most of the game the girls came up short. Sophomore Harper Morris led the way offensively for the Bighorns. Here is the scoring breakdown: 

MC - Harper Morris 12, Vera Grabow 7, Astrid McGuire 6, Addy Malinowski 6, Maddie Wilcynski 4.

LPHS Boys Basketball

The boys also split their games up in Choteau with a 59-50 win vs. Conrad and a similarly narrow loss to Park City 65-61. On Friday Isaac Bedway led the offense with 33 points and Ebe Grabow dropped 15. On Saturday, Grabow led the scoring with 27 and Bedway contributed 15. On Saturday, the boys also faced Manhattan Christian and after hanging very close at halftime, the boys came up short. Freshman Ryan Malinowski had a breakout game from beyond the arc in his first varsity start, burying five threes in regulation. Here is the scoring breakdown: 

Conrad - Isaac Bedway 33, Ebe Grabow 15, Aidan Germain 5, Ryan Malinowski 5, Jack Sheehan 1

Park City - Ebe Grabow 27, Isaac Bedway 13, Aidan Germain 10, Charlie Distad 5, Miles Romney 4, Grady Towle 2

MC - Ryan Malinowski 15, Ebe Grabow 9, Aidan Germain 7, Isaac Bedway 6, Miles Romney 3, Grady Towle 2

OMS Girls Basketball

The 7/8 grade lady miners team had a great season finishing with a couple of great games vs. West Yellowstone and Anderson. Lola Morris led the Miners in scoring vs. Anderson with 6 and Tatum Bedell led against West Yellowstone with 7. Also Lola Morris with 4, Kate O'Connor 4, Ava Lafiosca 2, Sheilo Little 2, and Rowan Mitchell 1.

The 5/6 grade ended their season with two great wins vs. West Yellowstone and Amsterdam. Excellent work girls!
