Happy Homecoming Week!

Read below for a recap of last week's action as well as details for homecoming week. For homecoming schedule refer to the flyer sent out earlier this week or check the athletics calendar.

LPHS Football

The Lone Peak football team came back with a vengeance after a couple tough losses in recent weeks defeating the Seeley Swan Blackhawks 64-10. It was truly a team effort at home as the Bighorns balanced run/pass attack kept everyone guessing and their defense forced several turnovers. They will face the Choteau Bulldogs this Friday for their homecoming game.

LPHS Volleyball

The LPHS Volleyball team had a quiet week with just two matches against conference opponent Jefferson and non-conference Gardiner. The ladies were able to win a set in each game but fell to both the Panthers and the Bruins. They will look to get a W against Whitehall this week or on Saturday in their homecoming match vs. Townsend.

LPHS Boys Soccer

The boys soccer team are on a roll, with just one loss against Billings Central. They took care of business vs. Park High, Laurel, and East Helena. With a tie against Lockwood they are currently second in their conference.  They will take on East Helena on the road and then Laurel for their homecoming game. 

LPHS Girls Soccer

The girls soccer team are seeing success as well improving their record with a tie against Lockwood and Billings Central and wins against East Helena and Park.  They will also take on East Helena on the road and then Laurel for their homecoming game. 

OMS Volleyball

The OMS volleyball team lost a tight game vs. Gallatin Gateway on Tuesday and got a couple of nice wins at the Manhattan Christian Tournament this weekend. They will head down to Bozeman and face Monforton on Thursday. Good luck girls!

OMS Football

OMS Football did not have a game this week, but will face Choteau on Friday as they search for their first win. 

OMS Cross Country

The OMS Cross Country team competed in Billings this weekend. In the varsity two mile Nick Hoadley placed 5th with a time of 12:07 and Steen Mitchell Placed 8th with a time of 12:25. In the Junior Varsity 2 mile we had: Sam Miller 14:11 (13th)Nikki Kamieniarz 14:18 (18th) and Russell Mitchell 15:10 (36th) The cross country team will head to East Helena and Billings this week.
